In the 1980s Alice King was one of the UK’s best-known wine writers, with columns in the Daily Mail and Marie Claire and regular TV and radio appearances. She became Tesco’s face of wine and is the author of a dozen best-selling wine books, including The Hamlyn Atlas of Wine and Fabulous Fizz. Now, no longer drinking, Alice has written columns about her recovery in The Times and You magazine and has turned her finely tuned palate to tea, coffee and soft drinks tasting. She lives in Berkshire with her three sons.
